Three players had 3 wins at Sundays Melee. In first place was Dominique with 21 points, Narrowly second was Mel D with 20 and 3rd was Amanda with 14 points.

Despite having to field 2 triples and 4 pairs against the mens 6 pairs the women took the Grail Trophy on Sunday afternoon overturning two years of wins by the men. Lovely afternoon and much drier than the forecast.

Steve, Amy & Mel C were the winners after 3 rounds on Sunday.

25 people turned up, Kevin, Senga & Doug were second, Terry L, Margaret R and Nell 3rd.

The second in a series of visits to HPC took place last week. Unity: One and All  is a community group supporting neurodivergent adults aged 18+ and their carers with creative and therapeutic activities. They also facilitate days and nights out doing social events one of which was playing the game of pétanque at Greenhead Park. Last week there were 12 clients and 8 carers and parents. A great 2 hours of fun in the sun with plenty of water and juice keeping everyone hydrated.
