We opened our account in the first game of the newly formed West Yorkshire League with a magnificent 5-0 win over league favourites Leeds.Leeds had player problems with one member being too ill to attend but Phil stepped in to play for them. Under the league rules we won these two games to 7 as byes.
This was a good scalp to take and the best possible start to the 6 match league.
