On a Terrain strange to our team, Huddersfield once again ensured the opposition did not score a bonus point against us. Our crack team of Margaret, Pete and Shirley winning two games, Margaret and Pete winning another in the pairs, as did Carol and Shirley, Nell and Brendan added to the total also with a win in the Pairs.
To say the weather was atrocious would not be incorrect. I for one am glad I took two sets of wet weather gear, particularly during the Hail down pour.
On a lighter note one of the Rochdale team had made a selection of Cheesecakes which she handed around to all takers. The one flavoured with Baileys was delightful.

Finally Alan H. who has played in one round for us but not been a member of a winning team so Far. We all have a lot to play for. We have plenty of games in the West Yorkshire league plus our own anniversary competition there are also games in the Yorkshire Petanque Calendar, many of which are open to non Yorkshire members.
