Chess with steel balls in Greenhead Park
Can you – an individual who loves the game of Pétanque – help us to build a new clubhouse? Many small donations would add up to a good amount.
The link for our Just Giving page is http://bit.do/HuddPet where you can read more about our project and see who else is supporting us.
Look at Club info & Documents on menu bar for details about an event being cancelled.
If you’ve nothing to do today why not see a couple of games from the recent Tog 24 La British Open Youtube channel. Both are about an hour long and you may recognise the place and some of the people.
Today’s mêlée postponed until 12th August because of rain.
On Thursday starting at 11am KMC will be bringing people to try petanque at our terrain. They call it Flame and other sports will also be on offer. It will go on to 3pm. We don’t know how many people will attend but if any members would like to come along early and help out it would be very handy. When club session starts at 1pm there will be plenty of room for both to co-exist. Weather forecast is hot, hot, hot. Bring a hat and a bottle of water.
