During the last 3 months of 2024 we kicked off a new internal singles competition with competitors electing to join the competition and organising their own games. Twelve people elected to join this 1st competition which completed in Mid December.

The final positions for each competitor were as follows:

The next singles competition will commence in the 1st week of January. Anyone wanting to participate MUST add their name to notice on the Club Noticeboard as a matter of urgency.

We are also investigating the potential for also running a doubles competition keep an eye on the Club Noticeboard for further information

Excellent day at Huddersfield Petanque Club for the Yorkshire Day, Peace Cup. Thanks to all 30 participants representing Yorkshire & the Rest of The World.

After a hot day in the Sun the Rest of the World won the Peace Cup this year.

The Sun awning had it’s inaugural erection this afternoon.

A small success for most people, it’s to provide shade against the sun for those members who need or prefer to sit in the shade between games.
