7 HPC members played in this event at Hollicarrs near Selby. It was 5 rounds starting about 0945 and finishing as the light gradually disappeared and the rain began. Best result for our club was Roy who was playing with a non HPC member. They won 4 games with +22 and came 3rd out of 18 teams. Paul & Christine also had 4 wins and +9 and finished 5th, Mike,.Moira, Brendan & Nell also won some games. The cumulative winter league table makes interesting reading. There are 79 players listed, Here’s the top 15.
Huddersfield Pétanque 
Good results at the Winter Pairs League for Huddersfield PC members. It is very unfortunate that a clash of dates once again prevented some members playing in the MMM. I still think the club should consider being flexible with the date of the MMM to avoid such clashes. Maybe discuss again at the 2023 AGM? Head V Brick Wall!
